Walking by Faith with Jesus and Be on God’s Side

tb joshua, scoan

In (2 Corinthians 5:7) Apostle Paul encouraged the Corinthians that “We walk by FAITH, not by SIGHT.” The desire and plan of God for each of us is “how to disciple us to learn how to live by faith, not by sight”. God wants us to learn how to live in a loving relationship with Him, to recognize His voice and commune with Him, to discover His will for our lives, to make right decisions to follow His direction and to live out His perfect plan demonstrated to us in His only Son, Jesus Christ. Hence walking by faith is simply being where God is and doing what God is doing. It is necessary to learn how to walk by faith, not by sight, because, “whatever is not of faith is sin,” (Rom. 14:23), and also because, ”without faith, it is impossible to please God,” (Heb. 11:6).

The public may not understand fully what God is doing, especially in the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Lagos Nigeria. The carnal man is walking by sight alone, or the natural man is being controlled by sight, and not by faith. Even to receive from God through the Ministries of SCOAN, or from the Bishop of SCOAN, Prophet TB Joshua, individual needs to come and exercising faith in Jesus Christ and His Word. Therefore walking by faith, (and not by sight alone) with Jesus in this pilgrim way is a continuous process for every degree of Christians. Walking by sight means to depend on human sufficiency, human wisdom, human ingenuity, human calculation, and so on. Whereas walking by faith means depending on Christ’s sufficiency, Christ’s wisdom, His power, His direction, and His enablement. ”It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man”, (Psalms 118:8).

The people walking with God by faith are on the Lord’s side. For example, in the wilderness the people of Israel departed God to worship a golden calf they fashioned for themselves whilst Moses was on the Mount. After reproving with that guilty nation, Moses called out, “Who is on the Lord’s side?” When we walk away from God we become God’s adversary and no longer on the Lord’s side. In this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic SCOAN has been reaching out to every corner of the globe offering prayers and healing to people in their homes or kept in isolation centres. The same hand of fellowship is still being stretched out by SCOAN to every people in isolation centres including to Nigeria, Prophet TB Joshua’s homeland. But it’s only a few people walking in the spirit by faith that would see that the Right hand of God is Power and that it can save, it delivers and it can heal. It seems that Nigeria is not only infected by a multitude of religious sects it is also infected by divisions within sects, between sects, and with people walking only by sight. Many believe more on what they can see, touch, whatever they read, and many think of God as One to be on their side. Rather it is that the name of the Lord is a strong Protective Tower and the righteous runs there for salvation. Take the step now and run to God’s side for protection, healing and deliverance.

Fortunately for Nigeria, and according to the official figures from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Nigeria Covid-19 update as at 2 September 2020 indicates a total of 54439 confirmed infection cases, 42439 recovered cases and 1027 deaths. This gives a death rate of those with outcomes to be 2.4%, and net active cases 10973. From the position of science, this is an encouraging update with no major course for further alarm, the curve is turning. Hence the public will have the false impression not to be in a hurry calling out people in isolation centres, (almost empty centres), to any prayer line. But from the spirit, and even if there is no single active case in the land, Jesus is saying after our healing “to go and sin no more”. He is also encouraging us that if COVID-19 hasn’t condemned us to death Jesus hasn’t either. It is not Jesus that condemns but our sins, our selfish desires, our weaknesses and our inability to walk by faith with God.

Coronavirus Maybe Only the Tip of the Iceberg for the Era of Humility

TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TV

With the advent of COVID-19 pandemic, many Christian sects are predicting that the end of the world is at hand. Of course, Christian prophecies about the coronavirus, about locust swarms, about a socioeconomic pandemic, or the consequent era of humility are worthy of attention. Prophet TB Joshua, the Bishop of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, (SCOAN), Lagos Nigeria, has spent considerable time drawing the attention of the world to what God has been showing to him. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has infected more than 25 million people globally since it emerged and has been branded a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Several conspiracy theorists and some Christian groups have responded by flooding social media in recent months with their versions of warnings of the world’s fiery demise. Hence both Christians and world scientists believe that they have a say on world affairs, especially as relates to the end-time plagues. Nevertheless, there is still no convergence of opinions so far but that the coronavirus shouldn’t be viewed as the end-time plague. The giant swarms of locusts which are also devastating, extremely unusual storms, earthquake and volcanic activity are both on the rise, and other very dangerous diseases that are sweeping across the globe are referred to as other signs that are confounding human knowledge.

The situation which Prophet Habakkuk faced in his time was the imminent invasion of the Southern Kingdom of Judah by the Babylonians, also known as the Chaldeans. This invasion eventually happened and Jerusalem fell to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. The Lord revealed to Habakkuk beforehand that Judah was going to be punished for her sin by the Chaldeans. Unlike prophets Joel, Zephaniah or Amos, Habakkuk did not even mention the possibility that destruction could be averted by repentance. He did not call for national repentance. It was too late. Instead, he predicted the destruction of Judah, and beyond that the doom of the Chaldeans themselves. Prophet Habakkuk promised that the only way to preserve our life through the judgment was by faith. Hence, even though destruction is decreed for all the nations of the world now, there is hope for individuals who hold fast their confidence in God. The full-blown doctrine of justification by faith, taught by Apostle Paul in Romans and Galatians, is the seed here and for our instruction. The just (righteous, faithful, true and obedient follower of Jesus) shall live by faith. There is hope for those who will hold firm their trust in God as the calamity comes, COVID-19 or otherwise.

Prophet TB Joshua’s measuring instrument of the just, the righteous, the true obedient servant of Jesus is in his or her degree of “letting go any offence, then constant meditation on the Word, and praying without ceasing”. The world is truly passing through a big storm and uncharted terrain but there is hope for those who will hold firm to their unshaken faith in Christ Jesus. We have two messages from Prophet Habakkuk. The first message is that proud person, people whose strength or ingenuity is their god (Habakkuk 1:11, 16, 2: 4, 19), will come to a woeful end, even though they may enjoy prosperity for a season either as God’s chosen ones in Judah or as the victors over Judah. All the proud, whether they are Jew or Gentile, men or women, they will perish in the unending ongoing judgment of God. The second message of Prophet Habakkuk is that the just shall live by his faith as a principle (Habakkuk 2:4). Finally, the prophet celebrates it as his song in (Habakkuk 3:16–19). Prophet Habakkuk says, “Even when all the fruit and produce and flocks and herds are destroyed and my very life is threatened, yet will I rejoice in God.” Hence banking our hope on God no matter what and all shall be well. Emmanuel

SCOAN Team are Praying for You

tb joshua, scoan

Prophet TB Joshua

Apostle Paul said in (Romans 1:9), “For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Gospel of His Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers”. Similarly, this Thursday, August 13, 2020, I was fortunate to receive a call from the man in SCOAN and his last encouraging words to me in the brief call was “We are praying for you”. It is a spirit-lifting moment knowing that you are not alone, that Prophet TB Joshua or his team in SCOAN is praying for you. In this COVID-19 pandemic era, we all need to keep praying for each other the more. Since the congregation worship has been limited by COVID-19 many families have been affected in different levels, and not just by COVID-19. Some of the challenges confronting Christians this pandemic era include disunity, lack of caring for each other regarding safety, isolation, or stress. But SCOAN is praying for you.

In hard times like this, not every pastor can be a certified public therapist when it comes to comforting others. But we’d watched the team in the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, how effectively they manage to bring smiles back to people in difficult and impossible circumstances across the globe. They offer effectual prayers that bring healing, deliverance, hope, renewed strength, increased faith and comfort. So when someone you know experiences a bad day, especially a loss of someone dear to them or a tragedy, how do you know what to say? Remember that the loss of a son may be different from the loss of a father, the loss of a wife different from the loss of a mother or grandmother, and so on. Pray for them and whenever you have the opportunity to tell them that, “I’m praying for you”.

We have to learn to say appropriately that, “I’m Praying for You and Your Family”, “I’m Praying for You” to a loved one, “I’m Praying for You” to a total stranger or acquaintance, or a fellowship group. Though telling someone that we’re praying for them may sound like the best option, but perhaps it won’t cut it. Maybe the person we are comforting doesn’t relate well to prayer. The Holy Spirit will give us other ways to extend comfort in not so many words. God’s Word says we can have confidence that when we pray, He hears us and we have the petitions we desire of Him. The only requirement is that those petitions must be made by His will for our lives. The question becomes, “How do we know His will?” The answer is simple. His will is in His Word which is the Bible. Hence we should pray what the Bible says and the Holy Spirit will help us to pray aright for people in their different situations. We should always also pray for Prophet TB Joshua, the entirely SCOAN team and individually.

The “effectual fervent prayer” is the energizing power similar to an electrical current that brings energy to a circuit. It is a passionate prayer, a heartfelt and persistent prayer. It’s a prayer driven by faith, love and total trust in God to do what only He can do for us or the persons being prayed for. The Amplified Bible, renders it another especially illuminating way, “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available {dynamic in its working}” (James 5:16). This kind of prayer is quite the opposite of a lethargic, repetitious or superficial type. Whilst it’s passionate, it is not merely whipping up emotions, or generating exciting sounds or putting together a certain set of words, but rather expressing intense sincere confidence in God.

Interestingly, when the Holy Spirit inspired James to illustrate such prayer, he chose Prophet Elijah, whose prayers God had used to demonstrate His mighty power. “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit” (James 5:16-18). James’ point is that, although Prophet Elijah’s mighty prayers and exploits were legendary, Elijah was also a man of frailties and flaws like us. Thus, James’ message is clear. If God could hear and answer the passionate faith-filled prayers of Elijah, “a common man with a nature like ours,” He can likewise hear and answer our prayers too. The Lord is eager to answer the effectual, fervent prayers of ordinary, but righteous followers of Jesus Christ. Emmanuel

Church Reopening After Covid-19

Coronavirus, tb joshua, scoan, faith healing

Coronavirus

The unfortunate interference of COVID-19 into public life has effectively shifted all public conversations around COVID-19. It has affected the way people gather to worship in mega Churches like the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN. Hence it is time to start thinking about what will happen when we reopen the church, as announced by state governors, even when COVID-19 is still circulating. We’re not heading back to the way things used to be rather it is going to be a new chapter after what we’ve learned from the pandemic. Nevertheless, we’re so comfortable with the leadership in SCOAN, Lagos Nigeria, where the Bishop, Prophet TB Joshua has said he is waiting for a divine order in reopening, when to reopen, how to reopen, how to meet government-set COVID-19 protocol and how to minister to people’s need.

The Church of Christ will continue to render unto Ceaser the things of Ceaser’s and to God the things that belong to God. Observing the regulations set out by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) will be built into the reopening arrangement, with its extra demand on Church administration. There are no two authorities in this realm but from the beginning, it is the NCDC that seems not to accept that the Church has any authority. It seemingly believes it may close down worship places without formal notice or dialogue simply because it has a large portion of the social media. Today many citizens of different societies believe in God, and by extension believe their religious leaders, more than their governments. There is a good story in (Matthew 17:24-27) when the people of Capernaum came up to Jesus asking for his tax. They came to Peter, and said, “Doth not your master pay tribute?” Peter answered, “Yes”. Peter went to Jesus and Jesus said to Peter, “… go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee”. This is what God will do in SCOAN. Even the tap water at the entrance of SCOAN premises will clean people of their entire ailment by the special grace of God. We only have to deflate people’s heightened expectations, making them work more on their faith and holiness to see Jesus the Healer.

As Prophet TB Joshua prepares his team for a harvest of souls, this fearful pandemic era, we believe that God shall guide him on what is more essential and what is less essential in canonical worship. If there was any way to advise the government or its agencies like NCDC, it is that government must work for and with her people rather than simply arresting and condemning perceived COVID-19 offenders. The government must work with their institutions and the Church of Christ, not in a political setting but as God’s resource centres for the respective nation. The Church, especially SCOAN, is doing great for the public, praying for them and rehabilitating them as needed. Emmanuel.

The Battle isn’t Against Fellow Human Beings

scoan, tb Joshua

Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, (Ephesians 6:12). It is a continuous battle for every Christian, day and night, but the battle is rather with the perception of our circumstance and the material world. The circumstance shouldn’t be the focus, COVID-19 isn’t the focus. Apostle Paul says we need to be strong beyond ourselves. We’ll need God’s strength for the conflict. It means that as Christians we are soldiers at war just like a regular soldier in the battlefield.

In that daily encounter we find Proverbs 3:5-6 saying, “Trust in the LORD with all thy heart; and lean not unto thy own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”. The divine intervention is needed against the unseen enemy described as a roaring lion seeking who it may devour. But again Paul in Romans (8:38-39) tells us that “. . . neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”.

Case after case of events Jesus, the King of kings, demonstrated His authority over disease, nature, demons, sin, over space and time, and authority over death. Jesus did everything to ensure our salvation and freedom from principalities and power according to Colossians (2:13-17). Whereas we’d been dead in sins and uncircumcised flesh, but Jesus has quickened us together with Himself. He has forgiven all our trespasses by taking them out of the way, nailing them to His cross. Jesus destroyed the principalities and powers, triumphing over them and He sets us free from tradition and culture.

This is where Prophet TB Joshua and his team in the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Lagos Nigeria, becomes relevant. Their mission is to evangelize the world on Jesus’ teaching and His Word, making everyone to have the right perception irrespective of circumstances. They teach that some seemingly unfriendly circumstances may be to draw people nearer to God. Therefore a circumstance like COVID-19 pandemic shouldn’t constitute the real enemy but our perception. This, for example, the brethren in SCOAN are demonstrating to the entire world in multiple ways using “Distance not a Barrier to the Move of God” and praying for people. We recall that in (Matthew 8) a centurion came to Jesus on behalf of his paralyzed servant. The emphasis in that story is on the power of the Word of the Lord that goes to any distance with equal power, that by Jesus’ command the sick were healed. Another lesson is the faith of the centurion, a gentile. In particular, communities that can place their trust and faith in Jesus Christ’s healing power like this centurion (Matthew 8:8) should link its entire people in their isolation centres, in a corporate faith, to SCOAN for Jesus’ healing. Jesus heals effectually and permanently. A vaccine, medicine, food, exercise can be used to treat but its God that heals ultimately.

The word of Naaman’s maid in 2 Kings Chapter 5 is very relevant here. The young Israelite taking forcefully to serve as a maid in Syria knew her God and said to her mistress, “. . . Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! For he would recover him of his leprosy” (v.3). The maid’s perceived incarceration didn’t deter her from recommending the God of Israel to her captors and masters. Just as when Joshua stood before the angel of the Lord in a filthy garment, (Zechariah 3:3), the young maid knew that her master was in a filthy garment of leprosy. It means Naaman was covered in iniquity that needed to be changed. We all wear a spiritual garment which is not visible and can either be clean or unclean. The garment speaks or describes a lot about who we are in the spirit realm. When our spiritual garment is filthy, it means our spirit in the spiritual realm is polluted or defiled due to sin. Also, the enemy can put a filthy garment upon one’s life to destroy the spiritual and the person, preventing the spiritual ability to achieve or fulfil preordained destiny. Covid-19 is currently the global filthy garment the devil is distributing around. Nobody needs to accept this COVID-19 garment nor wear it.

By the special grace of God in Jesus Christ, our generation also has a prophet in SCOAN, Lagos Nigeria, not only to help us deal with our infirmities or help to remove filthy garments but also to help us see God the right way. The Holy Spirit of God shall give the enlightenment and nations shall perceive by the spirit the needed divine guidance. The apostles of Jesus of old knew Jesus and the Holy Ghost. They knew they hadn’t silver nor gold (Acts 3:6) but what they had would make a 40 years old lame man walking and leaping. Those apostles were baptised and filled with the Holy Ghost. Similar prophet TB Joshua knows Jesus and he is filled with the Holy Ghost. Communities and nations approaching the SCOAN should have faith that they will meet Jesus. We stand as the maid who recommended Naaman to Prophet Elisha and Naaman was healed from wearing a filthy garment of leprosy. The battle is essentially our perception in the natural and inability to see and believe the mighty name of Jesus Christ that heals. Jesus is the Saviour and Redeemer of the whole world. He is still healing, delivering, and replacing any filthy garments with heavenly attires if we come to Him. Emmanuel

The SCOAN is continually on an Ongoing Fight Against Satan

tb joshua, scoan, emmanuel tv

Prophet TB Joshua

The team of prophets, evangelists, singers and even the congregation in the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Lagos Nigeria, under the leadership of Prophet TB Joshua can be classified generally as a wonderful group of people filled with the Holy Spirit. This is globally one of the best congregations of our time. However, the entire SCOAN team has a unique mission of “Waging a Continually Fight Against Satan”. Whilst most of us don’t like to fight with the devil or avoiding any confrontation with him, probably because of it’s a supernatural and demonic being, SCOAN people do. Unfortunately, Satan is an evil intruder and he comes like a roaring lion looking for you. He does not fight fairly, and he does not wait for an invitation. Prophet TB Joshua says Satan doesn’t hesitate to attack hence we should waste no time in casting all our everyday cares on God the Supreme Being. Even at this COVID-19 pandemic, with lockdown in congregational worship and gathering, SCOAN is unrelenting fighting Satan back whether Satan is close by or at a great distance. They coin it as “Distance is not a barrier for the move of God”. It is an awesome programme to be part of and to follow. Thanks to the Holy Spirit, some technology that assists them and the dedication of the team in SCOAN. As far as the congregation in SCOAN is concerned COVID-19 is a defeated foe and Satan knows it.

Contact scoanonlineservices@gmail.com for your anointed morning water package delivery.

On our part, we need to emulate SCOAN and stand up on our two feet and fight Satan back for every battle. The Bible is the perfect tool for recognizing and fighting the demonic attacks, generational curses, and strongholds that come against us. Be it COVID-19, an economic pandemic that will set in as a result of lockdown, job losses, deaths of loved ones, or even because of our weaknesses. It is necessary to recognize Satan’s fingerprints all over the places in our lives. Satan always tries to undermine our relationship with God. But James 4:7 says “…Resist the devil and he will flee from you”. How do we resist such a supernatural roaring lion? Ephesians 6:11-18 is very good to read. It says, “Put on the whole armour of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles (and the cunnings, tricks, intrigues, etcetera) of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. . .”

Every moment, especially in this perilous time, it is necessary to protect ourselves, our friends, and our family from the devil’s attack and overcome Satan with the power of the Holy Spirit. We should by no means give way to him, by indulging any sin or yielding to any temptation, but oppose him, and stand against his wiles, his cunning and his power. We must have unshakable Faith and Trust in God and His Word. What difficulties will not our firm belief in God’s wisdom, power, and goodness get us over? Then be humble under His hand. Casting all your care; personal cares, family cares, cares for the present, and cares for the future, for yourselves, for others, for the church, on God. Only faith can give that steadfastness – faith in Christ, the one Foundation, the Rock on which the Christian’s house is built. We shall not take Satan’s guff anymore. It is in our power to stand up and fight back, in Jesus’ mighty name. Emmanuel

AN OVERCOMER!

Tb Joshua Ministries,The SCOAN

Did you know that no matter how you feel right now, someone wants to be where you are, someone wants to have what you have and someone wants to be like you? You were created to be a vessel for God to use but God cannot use a discouraged servant.

Worry interferes with God’s Spirit in our lives. Despite the temptation to feel discouraged, we must overcome this as Christians. By saying about ourselves what the Bible says about us, we are made overcomers. What does the Bible say about you?

Are you sick? The Bible says in Isaiah 53:5 that by His wounds you are healed.

Are you weak? The Bible says in Psalm 27:1 that your God is the strength of your life.

Are you experiencing failure? The Bible says in Romans 8:37 that you are more than a conqueror through Christ.
Are you trapped? The Bible says in John 8:36 that the Son has set you free.
Are you facing lack? The Bible says in Philippians 4:19 that your God shall supply all your needs.

Words of confession of God’s Word indeed work wonders! When the Word of God prevails in your life, people will see it in your dominion, in the way you talk, in the way you walk. Are you ready to win today? Say to yourself, “I AM AN OVERCOMER!”

DON’T TAKE A STEP BACK

Tb Joshua Ministries,The SCOAN

Do you ever feel as if you are not getting anywhere – whenever you move forward, you find yourself going backwards again? This is because you keep taking steps back when you face obstacles, hindrances and problems, instead of allowing them to move you forward. Timothy experienced the same temptation but Apostle Paul warned him not to take a step back when he was sick, attacked, persecuted or discouraged.

“Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.” (1 Timothy 18-19)

You take a step back when in the face of your situation, you get discouraged and start complaining, ‘Why me?’ Whereas this is the beauty of our journey to eternal life – our challenges. Apostle Paul himself knew what it was like to feel like giving up while facing challenges but he kept on running the straight race with God.

What situation are you facing that is causing you to take a step back? Don’t forget, your challenges are friends to move you forward if they produce a sense of dependence on God.

Egypt – Ethiopia Tension: It Is Time For TB Joshua To Get Involve

The colossal dam that’s being constructed by the Ethiopians has continued to generate tension between them and their Egyptian and Sudanese neighbours. Which many fear could lead to war.

The leadership of Ethiopia says that the dam will offer a critical opportunity to pull millions of her nearly 110 million citizens out of poverty. The project is said to be the centrepiece of Ethiopia’s bid to become Africa’s biggest power exporter.

The dam will be filled from waters from the Blue Nile, but the Egyptians have expressed their concern over the dam’s construction and the filling of the dam with the water from the Nile, arguing that it will reduce its legitimate share of Nile river water access and threaten its water security.

Sudan on their part stands to benefit from the project through access to cheap electricity and reduced flooding, but it has also raised fears over the dam’s operation.

The US President Donald Trump had invited Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia to start negotiations in Washington over the $4.6bn Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), following years of unsuccessful negotiations between the three countries. Unfortunately, they still could not come to a common ground.

Egypt has warned Ethiopia not to start filling the GERD under any circumstances, but the latest information coming out is that Ethiopia has started filling the dam. This move by Ethiopia comes as the latest round of talks between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia on the contentious dam ended with no agreement.

As the Prophet will say “Let us look beyond our palace for God’s authority. With God, all things are possible!”

Since the world government and their institutions cannot handle this issue, it is time for all parties involved to seek the help of God through the instrumentality of the Prophet T.B Joshua for a lasting solution.

TB Joshua has proven himself time without numbers through his intervention on several conflicts in the African continent and the world.

As of recent, the world was a witness to how God uses the Prophet to intervene as an instrument of peace in the nation of South Sudan.

It is time to invite the Prophet of God in the peace negotiation through the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN) concerning the Blue Nile conflicts.

Voice of wisdom to the Egyptians, Sudanese and the Ethiopians.

Don’t fall for the evil agenda from the outsiders to cause you to fight amongst yourself. Be wise!

This battle is all about African pride and prosperity. And I don’t think anyone of you is against the prosperity of the other.

War will not benefit anyone. Don’t make yourself to be used by the outsiders to divide the continent and put you all against each other. Learn from your History!

Laying down your ego for the sake of peace is not diminishing. Restraint in the face of provocation only shows your level of maturity.

This is a simple issue that can be handled by God.

Africa is a Mother of peace and prosperity. Not crisis and poverty. Come together as brothers, learn to compromise and see how you can be a solution and of help to each other. Let Love Lead!

Secret Deeds Determine How We Use the Name of Jesus in the Open

In one of his many teachings, repeatedly broadcast on Emmanuel.tv, Prophet TB Joshua said, “What we do privately in secret would determine what we could achieve in the name of Jesus in the open”. This statement has a profound impression on many viewers, especially those wondering why their own, “Be Healed in the Name of Jesus”, has not produced the expected effect. What we do privately and secretly could hold the key to whether or not we can invoke the mighty name of Jesus Christ in our favour. What’s done in darkness will come to light as success or failure. Instead of flying from one planet to another we may keep crawling and struggling from a single point to another. The common testimony remains, “I am trying to follow Jesus but I am failing. I believe, help my unbelief.”

The unfolding events around us and in many churches all over the world reveal this reality and why there is unbelief, envy, chaos and feebleness in the Church today. We see our history, our past blunders and mistakes, unforgiving spirits, inability to let go the past, occultism and idolatry, common willful sins, all littering the different hearts and consequently in the ministries meant to proclaim Jesus. This truth and operational principle declare and forces all secret things to eventually come to light. The question is not if things will come to the light but when or how? Unfortunately, our weaknesses are coming up to hunt us due to the inability to claim our divine rights in Christ Jesus. In Genesis 4, God says to Cain, “Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.” Even Abel’s blood is shouting out this principle for us to understand that a Cain may no longer enjoy fellowship nor power with God.

If the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) must change people, nations and the entire world it has to change the common perception of every class of people in the Church. The symbol of our success must remain “Wearing the Garment of Holiness and be in the fullness of the Holy Spirit”. If for a positive result we must ask “According to His will” we may also ask first that, “What is His will?” That there is power in our mouth, the belief in our heart, released through our mouth by faith? This authority and power, in the name of Jesus, go hand in hand through meditation in His Word. The World must key into the recent prophetic word from Prophet TB Joshua that the “Ministry of Distance is not a Barrier” can be an “International Zoom Crusade for Healing, Deliverance and to Promoting Jesus Christ”.

The carnal world is expecting a scientific code, a sign, or healing and deliverance that would not need it to go through the name of Jesus or faith in Him. The world wants to do without Jesus. Although for us Jesus is our Product, our own Jesus is not for sale in SCOAN. Whilst there is no biblical code that can be invoked in exchange to our faith and holy living in Christ Jesus, the Bible, emphasized by our prophet, teaches on what is more essential to our successful walk with Jesus. The Lord Jesus and His Word must be at the centre of our living because if the Lord doesn’t build the house our work would be in vain. There is also a necessity to be diligent in our work because lazy people always want things but they never get them. Yet everyone has been given talents equal to their abilities and destined functions. If anyone refuses to use given talents such talents may be lost. The prophet has taught extensively too that we should always be willing to give freely in love to gain more; Casting our bread upon the waters to find it in multiples after many days. Those who refuse to give will end up having less and piling up unheard and unanswered prayers. In (1 Kings 3:1) we read, “…He (King Solomon) was wiser than all men…” This wisdom he exercised in many ways beside leadership. King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom, (2 Chronicles 9:22). World leaders must learn from the Wisdom of Solomon and come to Jesus, so that daily informed decisions can be taken.

Being in a state of mere physical darkness is probably not what the prophet is referring to. Many Christians create a state of physical darkness during prayer or meditation by closing the eyes so that other senses of the body could be made to work better. The physical sight can be deceiving, tempting us to believe only what we can see with the eyes. Right now the entire world is only seeing the global statistics of COVID-19 and its fearful forecasts. Whereas the spiritual eyes have unlimited meditation power and undistracted by what the environment dictates; the prophet might have seen many days ahead of COVID-19. The visual sense blinds other senses of the body making us believe in only what is visible, but when we blind it our faith should grow and we have improved concentration. Similarly our secret and private life, if spent on meditation on the Word and not what our circumstance suggests, would produce enough faith upon which the power of God can be released rather than a result of some academic exercise. The Lord Jesus is always true to His word when He said that “We would receive whatever we ask for in His name”.

Therefore, despite the prevailing global carnality, diversity in faith, a form of International Crusade by Zoom should be supported as we pray along with Prophet TB Joshua and his team. With prophets the standing of TB Joshua Revelation 1:7, “Behold, He (Jesus) is coming with the clouds, and every eye shall see Him”, becomes so near and a reality. Jesus described what people will be doing at such a time: “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day the Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Emmanuel
