Sit and reflect on life itself and you would discover that nothing happens by chance. It is the principle of life that for everything there is a purpose. Our God is God of purpose. There is a purpose for everything He created. Who knows what would have happened if there was day and no night at all. Who knows what would have happened if there were only women and no men at all. For everything God created, He assigned a definite purpose – a clear role. Remember, you are made not only in the image of God but also to live in a community. Without relating to others in a community, the reality of the image of God in us cannot be made manifest. Genuine spiritual experience needs to be tested in a real situation in order to expose the reality of the experience. By genuine spiritual experience, I mean the image of God in us which we manifest in the form of faithfulness, love, kindness, goodness, self-control, humility and the like as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23. If you say you are Christian, you are saying you are a divine image bearer of God. It means you mirror Christ and that your life comes from Christ. Except this claim is tested in a real situation, your claim would remain suspect.

As a Christian, no matter the situation you are facing, there is a purpose. Find out. Do a proper reflection and you would see that behind your situation lies God’s purpose for your life.

Oluranlowo mi! My Helper! So sang The SCOAN Choir as one of their numbers for the highly impactful Sunday Service. In an echo of God’s Word in Jeremiah 32:27 – Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me? – the lyrics of the song stressed total dependence on the power of The Almighty as the people prepared to receive salvation, healing, deliverance and breakthrough.

Prophet Racine spoke on THE PRAYER OF FAITH, as he explained the place of scriptural prayer in our attempt to make heart contact with God. He said, “Prayer is not saying words but praying the prayer,” while realising that there “is an inseparable union between the Word and Spirit.” With bits of Scripture such as Acts 3:46, Mark 9, 2 Corinthians 4:13 and Acts 19 he showed the importance of “using the name of Jesus Christ in love and faith” so that we can receive whatever we ask. He said that knowing the will of God requires knowing the Word of God. In closing, he noted, “The extent to which we think the thoughts of Christ, to that same extent we have the power of God.”

God’s servant TB Joshua joined the congregation to minister healing and deliverance but not before restating his message of last week about forgiveness, which, for the Christian, is not an option but a necessity for spiritual and material growth. He read from Luke 6: 37-38, the passage about not judging others so we will be not judged, not condemning others so we will not be condemned, forgiving others so we will be forgiven and giving others so that we can receive from God in far greater measure. To cap up the exhortation, the man of God also read from Matthew 25:40, the passage in which Jesus uses a parable to illustrate the importance of doing sacrificial charity to all and sundry. In the Mass Prayer session the Spirit of the Lord moved mightily, pulling down ancient strongholds in the lives of the people as prophetic words flowed to free the captives.

An accident. Then a fracture in his right femur – the bone in the right thigh. And gallant soldier Joseph Ibrahim had become incapacitated. Reduced to relying on a pair of crutches, the 32-year-old combatant had to depend on his wife to do most things for him. Unable to return to work despite receiving decent medical attention, Mr Ibrahim pursued the divine option. As such, although based in Enugu State, the Benue State indigene travelled all the way to The SCOAN in Lagos to receive prayers. “Every part in your system that has been damaged – receive life, in the mighty name of Jesus!” so prayed Prophet Chris two Sundays ago for the ailing soldier. As the healing power of God surged through the fractured bone, Mr Ibrahim cast aside his crutches, marching energetically on the SCOAN aisle. On Sunday, he told the congregation while closing his testimony, “There is no sickness God cannot heal.”

When she came to testify in church last week Mrs Edith Kofmah was all smiles. Ten years ago, the Ghanaian had suddenly been afflicted by a strange condition: a thick, dark and smelly discharge kept coming out of her. To save herself from embarrassment, she had to keep wearing pads. But her liberation came two weeks ago, when Prophet TB Joshua prophesied about her condition during the Sunday Service, declaring the devil’s hand removed from her life in the mighty name of Jesus. And indeed that hand was permanently removed, hence Mrs Kofmah’s beaming radiance last Sunday. She advised people not to be afraid of their problems but to seek God for their healing.

“I command healing on you, in the name of Jesus!” That was the Spirit-backed pronouncement made by Prophet TB Joshua a fortnight ago as he prayed with The SCOAN congregation and viewers of Emmanuel TV. During the prayer, by divine inspiration, Prophet TB Joshua gave a word of prophecy regarding the condition of a Hong Kong visitor with a nose-bleed problem. The prophecy was for Miss Ho Tsang Ki, who disclosed during her testimony last Sunday that she could not smell or breathe owing to the problem, which she had had since she was six years old. Advising people not to be discouraged when their prayers seem unanswered, Miss Ho told the congregation to understand that “God’s time is the best”.

Ten years ago, after what the family had thought was a minor domestic accident, Mrs Caroline Onyeneke, a grandmother, eventually became unable to walk or sit properly. Her son Reginald took her to different teaching hospitals and she spent no less than five months at one of them. With drugs failing to put her back on her feet, the doctors decreed an operation but the old woman stuck to her guns: “I want to go to The Synagogue,” she kept insisting. Two Sundays ago, she managed to get herself conveyed to the arena of liberty but, somehow, she was unable to enter the auditorium. As Prophet TB Joshua was praying with the congregation, Reginald, like Blind Bartimaeus did to Jesus in Mark 10:46-52, shouted to gain the attention of the prophet, “Man of God, have mercy on my mother!” After taking a few moments to interrogate the distraught son, the prophet returned to praying with the people: “Every damaged organ in your body – begin to function, in the name of Jesus!” Those were the same words the man of God asked Reginald to say after him as he asked him to lay hands on his mother. At the end of the prayers it was an amazed mother and son who beheld the Lord’s healing power as Mrs Onyeneke walked again. Testifying in church last Sunday in the company of her son and grandson, she asserted “nothing passes God’s power” even as Reginald himself said, “God is the Doer of hard things; have faith in Him”.

He took to The SCOAN floor and spoke into the microphone in front of cameras that were reporting him live to the world. “I want to testify to the glory of God and the shame of the devil,” Mr Joshua Sambo began his testimony on Sunday. He said he had been born with his left ear deaf and that his parents had done all they could to help him. But it was only two weeks ago, he said, that the story changed. The 35-year-old said that during the Mass Prayer with Prophet TB Joshua he suddenly heard a hiss from his left ear, as if from a deflating tyre. Meanwhile, the Kogi State indigene had actually been in church to pray about his difficult financial situation, especially about recovering the over half a million Naira debt owed him. However, when the man of God commanded that every damaged organ should begin to function, Mr Sambo remembered his left ear deafness and tapped into the anointing. On Sunday, he was extremely excited as he testified alongside his wife, mother, son, older brother and father-in-law. “Make your heart the contact point with God and you shall be set free one day, as I have been today,” he advised the church.

In Proverbs 18:24 the Bible says there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. In the case of Miss Alice Dramani, a Ghanaian environmental health officer at Tema Port, this friend was actually a sister – in the person of Mrs Stephanie Daniels, who, together with her husband, had braved all the odds and dared to transport the then corpse-like Alice to The SCOAN, in Lagos, Nigeria. With her distended, bloated stomach, as well as her swollen legs that couldn’t sustain her frail frame, Alice had been written off as a goner by friends and family – except, of course, fibroid-troubled Stephanie and her then jobless husband! It was in this state that Alice received an anointed touch from Prophet TB Joshua many months ago, even as Stephanie and her husband waited on God for answers to their own prayers. “I felt light once I got back on my feet after that touch,” Alice testified on Sunday. But much more was to come. Once back at her lodgings that evening, Alice began to leak stinky fluids from the openings in her body, stooling and urinating at the same time. Despite the stench, Stephanie stood with her till the discharges stopped around 4 a.m. By daybreak, the swollen stomach was down! Still, more was to come. Alice got on the trip back home and remained dry throughout the journey. The moment she stepped into her home, however, the tap got turned on again – and all that had been the cause of pain and discomfort in her life came out of her. Her healing was now complete, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! She reported for work and, as if to test the genuineness of the miracle, Alice’s boss placed her on the very demanding night duty for two weeks. Of course, God proved Himself and Alice outperformed her colleagues. Indeed, the reproach of two years was now over. Meanwhile, it was on the day of Alice’s healing at the arena of liberty that Stephanie’s husband had got a text message on the offer of employment for his present job. In the same vein, Stephanie would later go to the doctors for checks on her fibroids. To the glory of God, they were gone! Alice urged people to focus on God only and to ignore the counsel of doubters. On his part, Stephanie’s husband advised people to see God as capable of doing everything.

Remain blessed. EMMANUEL!!!

After calling for God´s will to be done in theirs and the lives of the congregation, The SCOAN Choir urged everyone to enter into God´s presence with all of their heart, laying down their burdens before His throne of grace. Who on earth, they asked, could have imagined that Jesus of Nazareth would lay down His life to rescue mankind?google-site-verification: googleae88ba0c5f15eeb8.html

After the praise and worship session, Prophet TB Joshua joined the congregation. He exhorted them on the need to show love to those who hate them and to quit indulging in self-pity and self-righteousness. He thereafter prayed for them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving words of prophecy to deliver the captive, heal the sick and save souls.

In a well-illustrated message, Prophet Chris spoke on ‘Damage Control’, taking readings from John 10:10, Ephesians 4:26-27,31-32, Galatians 5:14-15, Luke 6:29, Mathew 5:25, Romans 12:18 and Hebrews 12:14. What all these scriptures have in common is the need for Christians to imbibe the virtues of forgiveness and tolerance, realising that no person is perfect and that the key to gaining God’s promised blessings is by refusing to be satan’s captive through holding grudges. In his words, “Everyone has been wronged and everyone gets it wrong,” hence the need to avoid the “self-inflicted wound” of harbouring offence.

For seven years, Madam Chidinma Ohuakanwa, a Nigerian, suffered from a stiff neck, stiff hands, back pain, headaches and high blood pressure due to cervical spondylosis.

Expectedly, the problems made it impossible for her to lead a normal life at home and in the office. With her medications, neck collar and physiotherapy sessions unable to bring her relief or help her sleep at night, the Abuja resident took her friend’s advice to seek divine healing at The SCOAN. Two weeks ago, she visited and received prayers in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. “It was like a current ran through my whole body,” she said of her experience during the prayers, adding: “It was a new me that stood up from the ground.” During her testimony last week, she prayed for God’s blessings for her friend who introduced her to Emmanuel TV.

For Mr Ted Bobier, a 55-year-old Canadian artist, God manifested Himself in a mighty way two weeks ago. Afflicted for 20 years with sleep apnea, a dangerous condition that could have taken his life at short notice,

Mr Bobier had come to The SCOAN seeking God’s face. As the woman of God prayed for him, he felt the Holy Spirit overshadow him as he began to vomit uncontrollably, his body shaking vigorously as he fell on all fours. Once he got back on his feet, Mr Bobier gave thanks to the Master Surgeon, Jesus, who had healed him perfectly. Testifying on Sunday, he told the congregation of how he had been sleeping without his breathing machine since his healing. He declared, “This is the meaning of ‘Good Morning’!”

It was a spinal cord problem that made it difficult for Mr Ikwueze Ikechukwu to walk. A Nigerian resident in Lome, Togo, he had tried numerous hospitals and medications and medical aids, including a lumbar corset, which rather worsened his condition.

“It made me to lose hope in life,” he told the church last week during his testimony. His Lagos-based fiancée had advised him to seek divine help at The SCOAN, since his problem had in fact followed a dream attack. In faith, he had visited The Arena of Liberty a fortnight ago and God’s unfailing power had restored his spinal cord to normalcy, after prayers by the woman of God.

“I received my healing instantly. My body is so light,” he said while exercising to demonstrate his perfect healing. He advised people to trust Jesus for their healing at any living church.

Hers had been a case of constant bleeding that had defied all known medical solutions. The Ghanaian Mrs Patricia Amewugah had been one of the recipients of blessings at The Arena of Liberty two weeks ago. For the past three months she had been bleeding and had attended The Sunday Service in faith, believing her condition would be mentioned. As he took to the altar and led the congregation in prayer, prophecies began to flow and the case of Mrs Amewugah was opened. As the prophecy was spoken Mrs Amewugah’s heart jumped and she quickly stepped forward to confirm the words of prophecy. As instructed by Prophet TB Joshua she went to check herself and found the bleeding had come to an end. “Speak to God and ask Him to locate your case”, she advised people.

He was a con artist, specialising in parting marriage-seeking women from their hard-earned money. He would bait them on social media and defraud them of huge sums after meeting them in person. However, he wasn’t acting alone; he had the support of charms – a ring and some liquid given to him by a witch doctor– with which he hypnotised his victims. He would wear the ring on a finger and place drops of the liquid on his tongue. Sometimes he took as much as 10,000 thousand dollars from his foreign victims.

Tired of earning his living this way, Mr Sylvester George visited The SCOAN for deliverance, removing the ring from his finger and putting it in his pocket as he stepped into the church. The word of prophecy located him as Prophet TB Joshua ministered. On Sunday, he returned to church to testify of his new life in Christ. He advised fraudsters to realise that God’s own gifts are the best and most long-lasting.

When she was a child, together with her siblings, she used to taste of the blood of animals sacrificed to her family idol. Little did Miss Joy Ndak know that the ritual was going to affect her in later years. Now 30 years old, Miss Joy had been a bed-wetter for the past 25 years, like her siblings.

The condition has made it hard for her to settle down, as prospective husbands leave her once they discover her problem. To the glory of God, she received her healing two Mondays ago, at The Living Water Service. There, the contrary spirit in her had exposed itself before being expelled for good. In her testimony last Sunday, Miss Ndak told the congregation that she had not bed-wet since her deliverance. She therefore advised everyone to seek the face of God for their deliverance.

Miss Edith Nsowaa, a Ghanaian, suffered from hepatitis for years. Owing to the disease, friends and family deserted her. In trying to find a solution, she exhausted her resources and had to fend alone for her young Norwegian-born son.

Besides her hepatitis, Miss Nsowaa also suffered stagnation in life. To raise money, she had tried to sell off a piece of landed property but nobody was willing to buy even at the incredible giveaway price she was willing to accept. She took her case to God. After a visit to The SCOAN, she started ministering The Morning Water. Soon, she secured title documents to the land after many years of futile application to the land authorities.

More importantly, she received her perfect cure from hepatitis even as her son has now been granted the Norwegian citizen’s privileges that he had earlier been denied. Before ending her testimony on Sunday, she advised people to place their faith in Jesus rather than fellow humans.

It was just a few days after ‘The Nazareth Meeting with TB Joshua’ (June 23-24, 2019). Helen Muyiwa, a youth member of The SCOAN, had received one of the anointed T-shirts used for branding the event. When word reached Helen that her older sister, Omolara Owolabi, had been in labour for over a week, she rushed down there with her T-shirt.

“Do you believe God can do it?” she asked Omolara. “Yes,” Omolara answered. “Then wear this,” she urged her, in the mighty name of Jesus. Meanwhile, their mother had decided she was moving Omolara away from the hospital, which had insisted on surgery. Within two hours of wearing the T-shirt, Omolara began to feel her baby bob up and down in her womb.

Pronto, they moved to another hospital and in minutes, her baby boy was out. And they named him ‘Israel’! Omolara told the church: “With God, all things are possible!”

Two weeks ago, Peter and Chidinma had attended The Sunday Service as a prospective couple. The duo had first met in Nigeria when Peter inducted his partner into an international prostitution ring, making her swear to an oath of allegiance.

Before the event that forced them to have a change of heart and return to Nigeria in hopes of getting married, they had collaborated on many shady schemes in which they extorted money from immoral men after setting them up in Dubai hotel rooms. Having escaped jail in Dubai, unlike her colleagues in the trade, Chidinma agreed to start a new life with Peter, who had been asking to marry her.

As Prophet TB Joshua ministered during the service, the Holy Spirit prompted him to mention their case. After their confessions and testimony today, Chidinma advised girls like herself to embrace God and not get rich quick schemes that only lead to shame, prison and ultimately an early grave.

Ms. Edith Nsowaa suffered from hepatitis for many years. This sickness drained her finances, as she had to buy many medications prescribed by her doctor. It affected her health, as she could not go about her business. She became a recluse as friends and family deserted her for fear of being infected with the sickness in her. She lost all hope and had decided to live with the sickness until she was told about The SCOAN.She decided to visit the church and received prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua in the name of Jesus Christ. After the prayer, she testified that the symptoms she was experiencing ceased and she went back for another test where she was declared free from hepatitis. She was also experiencing business failure, as she had been searching for prospective buyers for her parcel of land. After the prayer of Prophet. T.B. Joshua, she was able to sell the property. She advised all that no matter the problems they are facing, they must remember that Jesus Christ would not abandon them.

VIcki Royce, Tb JoshuaVIcki Royce
The accusation of sexual misconduct against Prophet T.B. Joshua, by one Vicki Royce has now taken a new twist with the admission of the lady involved that she was paid money to smear the name of the Prophet.
According to the Nigerian online portal The Pointer News , Vicki Royce, an upcoming singer based in Lagos State, confessed that “she was paid to carry out the evil act” in accusing Joshua of rape and experienced a mental breakdown ever since her name was embroiled in the scandal.
It would be recalled that shortly after the COZA rape scandal erupted, multiple Nigerian blogs carried the news alleging Royce was raped by Joshua in 2012, even though she didn’t specifically mention his name in the tweets where she recounted the purported assault.
Several days later, Royce retorted online that Joshua was not the one who abused her, although the story of his sordid involvement had already spread in the Nigerian social media sphere.
“I beg of you! I was paid to accuse you of rape,” Vicki is quoted as saying to Joshua after she was spotted deliriously ‘roaming’ the streets of Lagos. “Pray for me so that I can get better.”
The news comes on the heels of a viral video showcasing another prominent accuser of Joshua, Bisola Johnson, confessing to her own mental instability years earlier in Joshua’s church and ‘begging’ for his help.
It is not the first account of Joshua’s critics being paid to accuse him.
A video on Emmanuel TV’s YouTube channel detailing an ex-militant’s confession that he was recruited by a Nigerian church to badmouth Joshua in public crusades in exchange for monetary incentives has been viewed 200,000 times.
The cleric, who is known for his calm mien despite the numerous attacks levelled at him, has described his ‘haters’ as providing free advertisement for his ministry.
“Let people advertise you. Don’t fight back. If truly you are genuine, whatever people say about you – whether they condemn you or spoil your name – it is for your good. If truly you are sent by God, it will turn around to favour you,” he said.CONTACT US FOR FREE MORNING WATER PACKAGE
